MUM OF TEENAGER DAUGHTER I AM DESPERATE FOR HELP MY DAUGHTER IS BINGING AND PURGING I KNOW SHE IS DOING IT EVEN THOUGH SHE WILL NOT ADMIT PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE HELP ME I DO NOT KNOW WERE TO START IN HELPING HER

Take her to your GP to start with. I used to work in a hospital for teenagers with eating disorders and the GP is the first step for help.

There is a lot of information here. I am NOT saying that she has an eating disorder. Lots of teenagers have a period in their life when they binge and purge which does NOT develop into anything else. The advice on there is good though.

thank you alot i just had a call from my doctor and he said to check out a site called teenage health freak dot org so i will try that too thanks to all feeling less panic now
