been coming over all afternoon. thought it was a hayfeverything but really quite painful now. and my right eye has gone all blurry.

Confused

is it leprosy (again) or something serious?

Any vision impairment should be checked out immediately. To be honest, I would go to A&E if I were you, or at the very least call NHS Direct.

It could be a bad ear infection or sinus infection or something, but anythig that messes with your sight needs urgent attention.

Crevix · 16/05/2011 19:50

really? its not that bad. think it's more the ache making it blurry - and its watery too which makes me think its hayfever related. or sinus. or leprosy.

sounds like it could be sinus related maybe.

Whereabouts does your face hurt? Is it around your nose/cheeks or above your eyes? I get that with sinus problems.

I would get your eye checked out though, as ManicAnnie said it is worth getting it checked out.

MoldovanHardHatporn · 16/05/2011 19:53

Could be a migraine but get it seen to ASAP.

Crevix · 16/05/2011 19:55

hurts along my cheekbone and around my eye - through to my ear he same side which makes me think sinus.]

i get about 2 migrains a year and don't feel like this.

have good painkillers but don't like the side effects. would heat help?

stripeywoollenhat · 16/05/2011 19:57

does it hurt more if you bend over? your face, i mean? because if it does, it's probably sinus related.

EveryonesJealousOfGingers · 16/05/2011 19:58

NHS direct, see what they say - agree iffy vision could be sign of something serious so best to get checked out.

LargeGlassofRed · 16/05/2011 19:59

Sounds like a bad sinus infection, as the others have said, get some antibiotics asap

Crevix · 16/05/2011 20:01

stripeywoollenhat · 16/05/2011 20:03

well then, probably sinus. but it sounds pretty bad so i'd get some abs sharpish: unchecked sinus infections are not good things.

RichTeaAreCrap · 16/05/2011 20:28

Rich tea are the worst biscuits ever yes!

It definately sounds like sinus to me, especially where the pain is. I get pain there but it doesn't hurt much if I bend over, I just get all the face/eye/ear pain.

I'd get in at the GP's as soon as you can - you may need anti bi's - you don't want to suffer with a sinus infection.
