I am AWFUL at dieting - help!

I hadn't realised how much I use food as a comfort until I started dieting. I can manage breakfast and lunch and possibly an evening meal, but as soon as DD goes to bed I feel I "deserve" a treat and start scoffing.
I have just made myself a nice stir fry with veg and lean protein, and I'm now looking around for something else.

Could someone PLEASE recommmend something filling and non-carby (which makes me bloated anyway). Apparently fruit is out as too many calories???

I need a nice simple list of things I can reach for when I want to stuff my face, or a good talking to, either will do!

How much are you trying to lose?

I would really recommend Weight Watchers. I'm eating more protein and fewer carbs and I've ever done, and it really suits me. I've lost 3 and a half stone since October Smile.

Sorry, forgot to say that my emergency snacks are:

Pickled Onions
Pineapple
Marmite spread on cucumber
Carrot sticks and low fat soft cheese

Also, could you delay your evening meal so that you're not looking around for anything else later.

I'm not surprised that you want to scoff in the evening if you have had dinner already, it's a long way til bedtime.

Littlefish - I want to lose a stone. Good list of snacks there, I will get some carrots in!
Trill - I know, I am just being greedy and eating sooner rather than later!
