Is breast pain always a sign of something sinister?

I had a lump in my left breast which went of its own accord and didn't show anything bad on a scan I had. That breast has got noticeably bigger than the other one but not enough for me to see a GP as most people have one bigger than the other.

However, for the last couple of days I have had a pain in my breast and it feels almost like a marble but there is no lump.

I am sure everyone would say go to the GP but ime they send you away to see if it is linked to your periods. Mine finished a day or so before the pain started.

TBH I plan on going on my own. It all depends what time it is during the day as I have children to get to and from school.

HOw did you sleep, FAB? tbh, when tired or depressed, most pain is worse - when dh was depressed he had loads of pain in various parts of his body, and if I'm run down or exhausted I get more back pain, more breast pain, etc.

So I really hope the meds help xx

I am assuming I slept better in that I can't remember my dreams. I have done lots today so hopefully won't pay for it later.
