Does bull's eye rash with a tick bite always mean Lyme disease?

Saw a Lyme disease leaflet recently, showing the bull's eye rash accompanying a tick bite as a symptom of lyme disease. Does a bull's eye rash always mean Lyme disease?
I had a tick bite 12 years ago which developed this rash around it and am now wondering if I had/have lyme disease. I never bothered going to the doctor's at the time, just thought the bite had got infected. I don't think I'd even heard of lyme disease back then.
Feel a bit silly going to the doc's about a bite that hapened years ago, but should I?

lyme disease stages

perhaps you should talk to your GP to see if there might be a test to see if you did contract it.

Thanks hiddenhome . Have had numbness/pain in my legs for years, thought it was related to old back/pelvis injury, and have put sore joints down to getting older. Off to the doc's I suppose.
