Seeing GP tomorrow for thyroid test

i have near enough all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid, thinning hair, dry skin, fatigue, weight gain despite eating a low GI diet (DH is diabetic) etc etc. i also have a puffy face, inflamed tongue (i'm forever biting the side of my tongue and it looks scalloped when i stick my tongue out) and constipation.

BUT my TSH levels were 1.5 (normal range 0.27-4.2) the last time i did a set of bloods. i'm a student nurse and we were practicing taking blood during a lull in A&E so sent my blood to the lab out of curiousity. I'm going to see my GP tomorrow and ask for a full thyroid function test but is there anything else i should ask??

tbh i've been blaming the course for being tired all the time but i have had sooo many nurses telling me to get checked out i'm getting worried. the last person who forced told me to make an appointment was someone i saw every time i was on placements over the last 3 years and she was really surprised at my appearance.

when I saw the GP recently, he ordered some blood tests for tiredness - so as well as thyroid, he ordered FBC, U & E, and Bone Profile.

I've just had one and the GP included anaemia and diabetes just in case. Only the thyroid came back as borderline (didn't tell me the figures but I think it was 6??) and now I'm having another test for thyroid antibodies.
