Earache

My 8 year old son regularly complains of earache. I have taken him to the doctor 3 times this year- once he was treated for an ear infection, but since then the doctor has found nothing wrong. It really makes him miserable- any suggestions as to what will help, other than Calprofen?

My eldest always complained about earache they used to feel blocked up and always felt 'popped' the doctor didn't give him anti- biotics just anti histamine which didn't work after 12 months he had grommits fitted for glue ear.My youngest son suffers alot with earache and deafness he too has been to the doctor- twice this year and twice he had anti- biotics the third time I left it to see if it went on it's own and it did
