You'll feel quite drunk, but main reason not to I think antibiotic will loose effect.

Yes, you can. My MIL had this a few weeks ago and the GP said she was OK to have alcohol with it.

Think it can slow down the ab effect, but if only having a glass for one night I am sure it's fine. I do anyway!

The reason it's best not to drink whilst on ABs is that alcoholhinders the body's absorbtion of them. (As told to me by my bil who is a pharmasist). So best not to, if you want your infection to clear up quickly and properly.

Dd had the same ab for a UTI - had to have two courses too and she definitely wasn't having a glass! lol. Hope you feel better soon YG.
