Hi, I am 22 weeks pregnant and over the past few days I have had pain on my right side. the pain woke me and it was very uncomfortable to lie on that side and walk. The first time eased after going to the loo but today it seems to be lasting. Has anyone else had this and do you think I should get it checked out? Not sure if it is wind or what but starting to worry a bit now. Thanks

Hi - didn't want your post to go unanswered. I think you dhould def get it checked out. It might be a UTI which can be common in pg but are easily treated. Hope you get on ok.

You don't know what is the cause of the pain and it is starting to worry you so yes you should get it checked out. It is quite possibly just muscular pain but you need to be seen to rule out other causes such as a urinary infection. Call your maternity unit and arrange a check. Take a urine sample with you.
