can't spell diarreah and anyway, not sure this bug deserves the respect.

DD1-6, started with the diarreah a week ago and is just about starting to have normal poos and to re-gain bowel control - only 1 pair of pooey panta today.

DD2-5, started last wednesday and still awful. She just can't get to the loo on time.

dd3-1 - started again last wednesday and still producing 5 awful nappies a day.

Dh and I have had diarreah since the weekend. I feel like my arse is going to fall off if I shit anymore.

We are being very careful with hand-washing, bleaching the changing mat after each change etc. But it is just vile. The smell is so awful, you know that real 'ill poo' smell.

The problem is that between poos the children feel fine so are running around the garden like nutters and eating as much as usual. I think maybe we all need to purge and stop eating for a few days but not really practical with little ones.

Any suggestions as to how to get on top of this bug? I've had the girls off school for nearly a week now which is driving us all insane.

Right. Get some lemonade. Put sugar in it to get rid of the fizz. Drink this and only this for 24 hours - all of you - even the one year old. This will allow the stomach to rest and give you all a chance to recover. Try and take it easy for this time - sit in front of the TV.

You WILL all get better. Sorry you are going through this, it's vile isn't it :(

Hope you feel better soon.
