Gp prescribed it to me for pelvic pain, I have been taking it a few weeks, didnt take it yesterday and I think what I am now experiencing is withdrawal. I thought at first Id got flu but just looked at symptoms and am sure its withdrawal. I feel like a junkie now! I dont want to take them now if this is what it does for you but I feel like shit and have such a busy work week coming up. What do I do? Should I start taking them again and go see gp for advice or should I stick with it like Im half way through withdrawal? How long will it take to go away. I cant believe Im inthis mess.

Go back to your doctor.

When I was on tramadol, I think it was 2 tablets for a week, the one tablet. When they were done, I moved onto ibuprofen.

I didn't drive on the two tabs, but I did not feel impaired so felt that it would have been safe enough.

The trick is to slowly cut them down, by half a tablet a day.
My DH didn't and was ill with night sweats and flu like shivers for a week , he simply stopped taking them ( for back pain) , he hated them, made him feel agressive, they did little for his pain and didn't help him sleep, which is what the GP said they would do.
I took one for a bad neck and was out of it for pretty much 24 hours!
