Pain few weeks after Root Canal

Hi,

A few weeks ago I had a Root Canal procedure done on one of my Molars. It all went well and was surprised I had no pain during or after.

Six weeks on, whenever I eat warm food or have warm drinks I experience a searing pain in my jaw around the treated tooth area. Cold foods are fine.

I expect I will have to return to my Dentist. It started out as a filling being replaced to then having a Root Canal soon after. I'm now very worried I may lose the tooth. Has anyone else experienced anything similar after treatment?

Return to your dentist, sounds like an infection.

Yes, and it was due to a chronic infection. I think you really need to return to the dentist.
