My daughter's 9m old and for the past four months (approx every four weeks) I've been getting awful pains around my right hip. Kind of cramping, often radiates down my leg. The pain sometimes also moves more centrally (and feels quite like period pains). I've seen the doctor a few times and been given anti-inflammatories and hard-core painkillers which work but seem to only mask the problem. The doctor thinks I've tweaked something but the regularity of the pain makes me query whether it's cycle related. I haven't had a period since my baby was born (am still breastfeeding) and am wondering whether it's linked to that.
Anyone had this? The pain is driving me crazy. Sitting down sometimes helps, but exercise is also sometimes beneficial...
