Though this may not be health related, I have been searching and couldnt find anything related.

Ive spent the winter wearing thick support tights, in the hope that this Easter when I got my legs out the veins on my legs would of not got worse. Infact i see a few new additions.

I know its more cosmetic in my case, my legs do ache at night, but i put that down to being on my feet all day with 3 children. I dont think the NHS offers treatments anymore unless they are in serious shape. Has anyone had thier varocise veins operated on? we have private health cover could i use that? I feel so vain, and shallow about it, but i am realy concious about them, and obviously with age they are just going to get worse!

Hello. I asked this the other day on behalf of my dh but didn't get any reply. Will be watching to see if anyone has any advice. I don't think it's vain at all by the way. The ones my dh has are really quite unsightly and he worries about them getting worse.
