Lump on Eye

I got a little lump appeared to the side of one eyelid, probably about the size of a small pea and Ive had it for over a week now. Its not really painful unless I touch it and even then it doesnt hurt that much. Anyone else had something like this, Im hoping that its something that will just go as I hate anyone doing anything medical near my eyes!

Im feeling a little run down at the moment and wondering if its anything connected to that.

3girlsmum, I have had one before, it is called a chalazion. Sometimes they are on the inside of the lid, I had one inside the lower eyelid. It should disappear in time.

Or it could be a stye, put an earbud soaked in hot salt water on it, it may burst and then heal very quickly

Thanks for the reply ali, I thought it might be something like that. I did try some hot water on cotton wool last night but nothing happened. Do I regularly have to bathe it before it disappears? x
