oh the shame [cblush]

I have always been a "once every three days" kind of girl, when it comes to my bowel movements. Sometimes more often if i am eating healthier foods. In the past i suffered from IBS.

I have recently started running again (first time for about 3 years) and I am now opening my bowels around twice per day.

is this just as a result of exercise? or is it something I should get checked out?

I am asking you lot becase the sheer thought of seeing a doctor to discuss how often I poo, when I am not actually ill, makes me cringe!

thanks [cblush]

Twice a day sounds healthier to me than twice a week

cyb, i know - i certainly FEEL better for it. But I thought a change in bowel habits automatically warranted checking out?

I was kind of hoping lots of people would rush on here and say that running made them poo more too......

Exercise does make your bowels work. Tis a fact.

And if you google 'runners diarrhoea' you get way TMI.
