Denture question

My dh recently had new (partial) dentures, both upper and lower. He had upper dentures before, they had become very loose and needed replacing, the lower dentures were a first.
He has been very ill in the past few months.
The upper dentures and one side of the lower dentures are perfectly fine, but the other side is giving him a lot of pain eating. He has been back three times, each time they try to adjust, but each time it gets worse and his tongue is getting very sore.
Has anybody got any idea what to do next? Should he insist on have the dentures made again?
I've also posted this in AIBU.
Thanks

i think its a case that they keep adjusting them till they fit right, imagine them like a seesaw that needs balancing so if they adjust one side to much they tip and cause pressure on the other side.if i was your husband i would take them out as much as possible even to eat, gargle with warm saltwater and try to let the mouth heal and then start again.also make sure he uses bongela each time he puts in his teeth also using pelmits denture fixture should help stop them moving and causing friction.
