thrush and fever

My daughter was diagnosed with oral thrush this morning, has taken her antibiotic drops all day. She looked tired all day and felt very hot tonight. It turns out she's got quite a high fever. I gave her some paracetamol and she's now in bed sleeping. I made some research and thrush doesn't seem to come with fever normally. Would you confirm this or has any of you experienced the same, thrush with fever ? I'd just like to know if she is now coming up with something nastier. And the poor child has just had german measles... she's not been having a good time lately

Aw, poor thing.
I'm no expert but I'd say they are unlikely to be related.
Did she have anti-biotics for Germna Measles? Anti-biotics can lead to thrush because they kill off the friendly bacteria which normally keep it at bay.
Give her pro-biotics to redress the balance.
It sounds like her immune system needs a bit of an overhaul.

she was not given anything for her german measles. She used to be so healthy, but it looks like it's going to be another trip to the doctor's tomorrow morning ... Thanks spidermama.

Good luck fredly.
I hope she feels better soon. At least she has got German Measles out of the way.
