pinkytheshrinky · 21/04/2011 22:51

gall bladder???????

Pancakeflipper · 21/04/2011 22:52

Urine infection? Can cause nausea.

Gallstones?

StarlightMcKenzie · 21/04/2011 22:52

could be a blood sugar problem of some kind?

Try eating the protein first rather than the carbs?

TitsalinaBumSquash · 21/04/2011 22:53

I think if you have pain, then gall bladder is a good guess.
I have this - nausea after really quite small amounts of food - and have never found an explanation despite a lot of investigations. Grr.

PeachyPossum · 22/04/2011 14:51

It could be spasms/slow digestion/gallstones/ulcer all sorts! I would get back to the gp and ask for stuff to help with the sickness & some basic checks to see if they can spot whats going on.

I hope you get sorted :)

Gall bladder.

Or - you could be eating something that just doesn't agree with you. I used to have nausea after about 60% of the meals/snacks I ate - but then I changed what I ate and now it's so rare, it's a real shock when it does happen.

edwardsbella · 23/04/2011 20:54

went and got a bottle of gaviscon advance this morning as it was really bad, seems to have really helped, would that work for gall bladder problems

inflammation of the stomach lining

gp will sort

GrownUpNow · 23/04/2011 20:57

I've been feeling this way recently too, slightly upset tummy. Nausea in the mornings. A bit of indigestion in the evenings. Occasionally waking in the night with stomach pain.

Have you changed the way you are eating recently? I put mine down to coming off a low calorie diet, my body isn't happy with all the fat it's getting, even though I am hardly overeating, it's just not used to it.

probably stomach ulcer or at very least your somach is a bit iritated if its not actually ulcerated.

keep up with the gaviscon and also try some zantac for about 4 weeks to see if this helps.

do you drink a lot of coffee/tea/coke, take asprin? eat chocolate? might be ab idea to cut back if you do as these things will irritate and ulcer. do you smoke or live with a smoker? again this can also make it worse.

licorice is also another thing thats helps. it does two things. improves motility of your stomach/bowel and increases your stomachs mucus production this protects the lining of your stomach.

an ulcer that is on the lesser curve side of your stomach can feel just like gall stones.
