If I can stand on it , it can't be broken can it ?

I have really hurt my ankle , it is fabulously swollen on the left hand side but I can walk on it (kind of)

I have just got in and put a bag of peas on it as you do . I really really don't want to have the hassle of hospital .

Please tell me if it was broken I wouldn't be able to walk on it .

Just thought I would come and update you (whether you like it or not )

I am managing with only one crutch and half the painkillers now so I am as sure as I can be that all is well .
