mid cycle bleeding

I have some very slight traces of blood exactly mid cycle. has anyone had this before? i'm not on any contraception, can't be pregnant, but do have a 14 week old baby....
does this sound like my body just not quite being back to normal after childbirth? worth seeing a doctor or not really? I'm 36 years old and had a normal delivery and had my first post natal period two weeks ago. any shared experiences?

I'm sure it'll just be your periods getting back to normal after your first one. If you're not sure then go see the gp - but unless you wait for the next period, you won't know if it's mid cycle bleeding until after then.

After the birth of ds (6yrs), my cycle has been every 3 weeks rather than 4 (v. annoying) so it may be your cycle just sorting itself out.

Ask the GP/health visitor though if you don't think you can wait.
