Does anyone have ovulation bleeding/pain?

I have light bleeding and pain when I ovulate and my mood is in my boots for the rest of the month until I get my period. My periods are so heavy I flood (sorry TMI!) I keep worrying there is something wrong. Have had tests a couple of years ago which where normal but I feel bloody crap every month.

The ovulation pain is more common than you think has a proper name google it, im not sure how to spell it!! have you had any tests for endometriosis? Lots of women get misdiagnosed when they have this.

I have had all kinds of tests a couple of years ago but things have got much worse over last few months so going to see GP and ask for further investigations I think. Its making life quite miserable.

YY, I keep meaning to mention it but never get round to goign to the GP.
It is so bad that DH can tell when I am ovulating juts by my mood swing, it does pick up after a week or so, and then 5 days later I am Queen Bitch again with PMT.
I get very bad cramps when ovulating, almost as bad as period pain, and then my period is really heavy.

I do have a mooncup but I flood it (tmi again) in an hour. People don't believe me, but it is true, so I know that isn't right, but what can they do?

I was offered the pill, antidepressants, the coil, the injection.....none have had any impact to be honest.

I have worse ovulation pain than period pain. It hurts just to walk sometimes. I have a 3 week cycle so ovulate a few days after my period ends Sad and then it's only another couple of weeks until it all starts again - bummer. It's usually worse when ovulating from the left side than the right.

This happened to me, i had the mirena coil fitted (bad mistake) and had it removed after 17 months to TTC. Waiting for the first cycle was a killer, and each time my body was/ was trying to ovulate i would have bad pains and moods swings like you described. It was that bad i could hardly sit, walk or move. I went to my GP and they did swabs and an examination and found a swelling to my right hand side where my ovary was (this was the side i was having the most pain during ovulation) They sent me for an urgent ultra sound who found i had Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome. I have changed my diet slightly and it has helped somewhat. I do know how you are feeling and its horrible! I would get them to reffer you for a scan as thats the only way you will know for sure what is going on.

I ment on my left hand side the pain was! I could have never guessed i had PCOS as i had no other symptoms apart from a small amount of excess hair on my chin (that i pluck) but i didnt loose my periods, was still regular and didnt put on any weight. Dont let them fob you off with anything.

Good Luck x

No bleeding, but I do get ovulation pain plus mood swings - PMS and pain every fortnight - Hurrah!

It seems to be connected with my endometreosis (although one GP insisted it was my hip joint Hmm). Unfortunately it is very hard to diagnose, and is often only 100% identified after a laparoscopy.

I have had scans on ovaries, and womb and biopsies etc but they just say its something I have to live with!
