I'm not expecting an online diagnosis or anything but this can't be good can it? I have had what looks like a faded love bite on the side of my breast for a few weeks, I left it just in case it was Blush but it hasn't gone away, now have a dull ache that comes and goes every so often. No other symptoms. I have had mastitis and thrush while breastfeeding and it doesn't feel like either of those. Any thoughts?

Go to your doctor. Tomorrow.

It is almost certainly nothing but why why WHY take the risk?!?!

Oh I am going on Friday. I'm not a person that just leaves things and hopes they get better but hoped for someone to come along and say they the same symptoms and it was sorted with a plaster and some calpol!

I had breast pain for ages, went to GP and she said it was probably just a strain of the ligament type things. Told me to wear a sports bra including in bed which I did and it was gone in a week. Maybe try that (but go to the docs as well)

I had bad breast pain a few years back. Went to GP, who was really good. Took me seriously, checked me out thoroughly. I had to wear a sports bra too and take high does evening primrose oil. It didn't clear up immediately, so they referred me for a scan, just in case.

No lumps, bumps or nasties. Just a tear in the muscle (I guess the pectoral muscle?). More sports bra wearing 24 hours a day, and it eased over time.

It stills flares up every now and then, but is annoying rather than dangerous/serious.

Hope you get on OK with the GP, and he/she can put your mind at ease.
