Smoke smell

I have constantly smelt smoke since last night.

Everywhere I go I smell smoke. There is no fires though near us and no one smokes.

Is beginning to make my eyes sore too. Feel stuffy and as though I can't get a good breath.

Any ideas?

Are you pregnant? I went through a phase of smelling smoke until I was almost physically sick when I was pregnant in the early stages?

I had a brief google to check and it can be the sign of an infection but also and I don't want to worry you too much, faintly possible- a brain tumour. Probably best to see GP if it persisits.

Thanks

Not pregnant - did test last week.

Read that about brain tumour. Hope it is only sinus infection.

Appointment at doctors tomorrow. So fingers crossed

Got a nasal spray for sinus.

Gp had never heard of it and even googled it there and then.

To go back after using spray for a week if it is still bad.

Hopefully it works.

I get this from time to time, usually get a smokey/ashtray taste too (lovely!). Generally lasts a week or two then goes again. Interesting that it might be sinus related. I've googled it in the past and it seems like it's more common than you might think.

I have it right now as well and get it from time to time, it does generally seem to last a week or so and then disappears. Strange!
