Numbness in breast

Am a bit concerned because the whole side of my left breast has gone numb. I have a 14 week old baby who was born 4 weeks prem by emergency section. I couldn't breast feed but expressed for 4 weeks and didn't notice any loss of sensation then. I can't feel any lumps and the appearance of the skin hasn't changed but am really worried. Sad Is this just a hormone thing? Am going to the Docs on monday because I have an infection in my section site so will ask him but just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this before?

Are you feeling any pain there ? its good you are seeing the docs tommorrow, as it wouldnt do you any good to speculate, it could be anything, i had mastitis when i was bf and it was accompanied by numbness as a result of expressing, but like i said best to see the doc as planned. Good luck
