I have an underactive thyroid and have read up a lot about it, but I've never heard of that. If your thyroid consultant hasn't heard of it then there's a pretty good chance that there's no link, and it's just a co-incidence.

Tut, dont' listen to anything the Americans have to say

WigWamBam · 31/10/2005 14:20

Americans, eh ... what do they know?

Seriously, I wouldn't let it worry you. Sometimes bfing works, sometimes it doesn't, and very often there's no real reason why.

oh Amanda, how disappointing

are you levels OK now, do you feel human again?

suedonim · 31/10/2005 20:18

I think this has been mentioned before on Mumsnet, I remember because I have low thyroid too.. Try searching the archives and see if something comes up.
