What else could I be doing?

I've been feeling a bit run down and VERY stressed for the last few months. PMS and really heavy, painful periods haven't helped and my scalp has also flared up and been horrible and dry and itchy.

Have bought some Floradix iron and some Evening Primrose tablets and have resolved to do the Couch to 5k running programme, which I started yesterday.

Can anybody recommend anything else please?

You could cut out caffeine , alcohol and White carbs if you really want to go health mad!!

I hardly have any alcohol. Maybe a couple of drinks twice or three times a month at most.

All coffee is decaf but I haven't managed to give up earl grey and am not so fond of the decaf one.

I think I would be waaaaaaaaay more stressed with no white carbs!

Thanks for the advice so far.

Any easy tips for drinking more water, when I don't like it much?

Anything else?

I take it that having another chocolate isn't the best way forward? :)

Hi if it was me would see a nutritionist - sounds like you might have candida - a fungal overgrowth...this might be causing the itchy scalp and PMT. Find someone who is I.O.N trained....prob only need to go once or twice and they will sort out your diet and what your imbalances are vitamin wise etc. Good luck and hope you feel better soon

Thanks. I don't think it's fungal because Nozoral shampoo doesn't really help, whereas the ones for a dry scalp do a bit.

Am really not ill - just looking for abit of a boost and trying to take it into my own hands a bit.

Thanks for the advice though - if I can't DIY it, I'll remember your ideas.
