Advice for poorly dd

DD has been a healthy little girl, and it's only when she's poorly that I realise how unfamiliar I am with the basics of treating her for minor ailments. So, yet again, it's to the wisdom of mumsnet I turn...

Her symptoms - a chesty/phlegmy cough that is periodic rather than constant. Also, is more of a "clear the throat" kind of thing, than a coughing attack. She also vomited once last night, but not since then so unsure if it's a tummy bug or simply something she ate that didn't agree with her. She's had a light breakfast, and while she didn't eat alot and is complaining of a mildly sore tummy, breakfast has stayed down (it's been 2 hours). She also has a bit of diarrhea - but nothing extreme. No fever. Pale with dark circles under eyes, and listless. She's 4.9, by the way.

What can I do for her? Any medicines from the chemist that might help? Thanks.
