Please recommend a childrens thermometer

DD2 and 2.6 kicks up a terrible fuss and has to be held down to have her temperature taken. I would like to get an ear thermometer can anyone recommend a good one that doesn't cost a fortune.

I bought one for about £15 a few years ago for DD1 but that turned out to be a false economy and never worked unless we all actually do have a temperature of 19c

thats about £28 but im sure i was in morrisons yesterday and saw their own one for around £11 hth

agree, braun thermoscan, takes about 3 secs in the ear & it's the ones the gps seem to have. not cheap but i've bought so many cheapies in the past & they're useless, so as you say, false economy

Another vote for braun thermoscan. It's the only one i can use on wriggly ds as it is so quick
