Periods have randomly stopped!

Have posted this in two sections as am really anally retentive keen for help! In Sept/Oct (ish) I came off my pill (Microgynon)...I am not 100% sure of the timeframe as just used them up, and had quite a few packs! This was for no other reason than I was sick of being on it (have been since I was 17, am now 31) felt I should give my body a 'break', and as I planned to ttc sometime in 2011. In late Nov/early Dec, was prescribed Citalopram for anxiety - this will be my 4th time taking SSRI's in last 10 years, but, as DH pointed out, the 1st time I've taken them without also taking the pill simultaneously.
Weirdly, since Jan my periods have totally vanished. Prior to that, I was having one every month, although a bit irregular re start date since I came off the pill. I've now done 4 x pregnancy tests, all negative, and am starting to worry a bit: as I say, we do want to ttc later this year, and am keeping myself awake with all kinds of thoughts about early menopause etc!
My mum has hypothyroidism, and some yrs ago I was told I had the antibodies for pernicious anaemia - not sure if these might be possible factors...?

Are you stressed...you may be with worrying? Stress can stop ovulation.
Also are you underweight as that can stop ovulation.
Sometimes it can just take a while for the body to adjust itself to a natural rythm after stopping the artifical hormones in the pill.
Try and relax, eat healthily and if there is no sign of anything within 2 months or so, pop along to the dr who will do a blood test to check for hormone levels.

Have you lost weight? That can stop them

Thought would pop back - thanks for all your posts. Have been to GP who's ordered blood tests...no results as yet but am keeping my fingers crossed it's nothing sinister. The GP didn't seem overly concerned, anyway...
