18 month old coughing phlegm until vomiting?

My 18 month old has a cough and is vomitting green phlegm especially of a night when he's lying down

Any advice on how to relieve/ease it greatly appreciated!

any child vomiting with a cough first needs to see a doctor to rule out pneumonia.

if it IS just a benign cough- fluid, steam and a glycerine based cough mixture should help.

Thanks Blinks, hes got a fever now so if still not well in the morning will be off to the doctor

at that age with a fever and cough, vomiting at night i'd want to get them seen tonight to rule out pneumonia or bronchiolitis. green coloured phlegm indicates poss bacterial infection also which should be treated asap.

keep a close eye for breathing concerns.

It's a rattly cough
Went to the doctor today and they said it's just a virus we have to ride out
Oh the joys!
