I had SPD in my 3rd pregnancy, crutches by 17weeks, wheelchair by 25 weeks and ended up C-sectioned at 37 weeks.
I also have had back pain since my mid-late teens, with no trauma.

Now, DD3 is 10months old, and although I have more movement, i.e. i only need my crutches on bad days, I am still on as many painkillers, more infact than when i was heavily pregnant.
I see the physio through work (im in the NHS), and have basic exercises to do and get my core muscles moving more, they are ridiculously stiff and not moving.
I have been referred to the local orthopeadic service and have had an MRI, seeing them on Wednesday to go through the findings. They have made an initial diagnosis of SIJ (sacro iliac joint) dysfunction, pending the MRI.

There is SO little support out there for people in our position, whether its your hips, your back, basically chronic pain!

Join in, moan about your pain, and find support

Hi

Just a suggestion.Have you ever thought getting yourself a personal trainer, rebuilding your body from scratch, and making yourself stronger. I had one pre, during and post birth, I mean now, as my baby is 4 months old and it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to pay for great support. Good luck.
