For me, radically changing my diet has saved my arse. Literally. I will spell it out if I need to, but if we can leave it at "a massive pain in the arse", that would be good :o

Major dietary change: mostly vegetarian. Dried apricots every day. Lots of water. Very little wheat. Meat and dairy ok, in moderation. It is a big adjustment, but so worth it to be pain-free. I'm finding that a mostly plant-based diet takes a lot of planning, but thank goodness the occasional drive-through food is still ok.

Anyone else?

The only drawback, BTW, is the excess wind... Blush
I really should not eat chickpeas. Especially not curried ones. Especially not for lunch on a day when I have yoga later... BlushBlushBlush

I eat a gluten free and dairy free diet. I eat no cakes. I medicate regularly with wine.

Jacksmania · 24/03/2011 21:01

Ohhh, maybe I should try the wine!!

I sort of quit my job (I was being pushed also). Most of the stress in my life (75%) was work related so I just left. Best thing I ever did.

Stopped going out to work, had my gall bladder removed, radically, changed my diet totally gluten and lactose free.

Feel a lot better now and thanks to hellsbelles and lots of encouragement form others on this thread I take an antacid called Prerelief and feel totally well.
