So AF pretty much regular as clockwork but for last 6 months or so have been a little odd....

Af arrives as normal then I'll have bleeding for 2/3 days then it will stop, usually for 1 day sometimes 2 then comes back again. WHY?!

It's driving me mad. Not a problem just annoying. Am I a freak and alone in this Grin

I actually thought you meant atrial fibrillation. What is AF?

Imnotaslimjim · 23/03/2011 22:22

QOW, AF is AuntFlo, a MN word for the monthly!

Notshort, Don't worry its normal, mine have always done it. Obviously I've no idea why yours have only done it for the last 6 months but I wouldn't say it was anything to stress about

QueenofWhatever · 24/03/2011 20:49

Ah, I see...

ChishAndFips · 24/03/2011 20:51

Mine have been a bit haywire over the last few months, I think the menopause is on its way...depending on how old you are could it be that?

needcoffee1982 · 25/03/2011 18:06

mine have been like that the last few months too. i cant be going thru the menopause, im only 28!

NotShortImFunSized · 29/03/2011 10:50

Oops totally forgot I posted!

Thanks for the replies. I hope it's not the menopause I'm 29!!

That one was the strangest one yet though. Very light, had the day break then only half a day after that. Odd for me. Might see GP just to check all ok.

Thanks again Smile

mine were doing that and yes it can be menopause even as early as 28 but just not usual my periods started going on for diff lengths grrr then changed when a little also annoying then after a few months started missing the odd one here and there, im 47 so was sure it was menopause as begain periods at 10 went to gp was ref to gyno had ultrasound and little camera inside and a test to see if menopause (it wasnt) it was two lumps , was scared stiff but after waiting for results found it was cysts and nothing sinister i had a D n C and the periods went straight back to normal , so always worth checking at the gp
