When should i have a smear?

I'm nearly 19 and had my dd soon before my 18th birthday, i havn't been offered/advised to have a smear, am i too young or has everyone just forgotten?????

no your not too young, had my first one when i was 16 because i was on the pill, i would just ask for one, then i think you have one evry 4 years.

see iv been on the pill since i was 14 (barring the pregnancy) and have never been offered one, will ring the doctors tomo, thanks!
