periods - blood clots - normal?

During the heavy day of my period, I pass blood clots some the size of 50p piece, once was bigger. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Depends. If you might have conceived, then maybe.

But otherwise you are probably just a bit anaemic and it's causing higher blood loss than normal.

Mine depend entirely on how much I weigh at the time, if I am overweight I bleed about 50% more.
