Hey everybody,
I have had an adrenal saliva test done, suspected adrenals were the root cuase of my fatigue and other awful symptoms. Anyway i have low cortisol and low dhea, adrenal exhaustion. My GP wont help and i spoke t an Endo who says they can only help if it is Addisons. They dont recognise adrenal fatigue!!

Just wondered if any mums had experienced adrenal fatigue and how did you get it treated?
I dont know where to turn or who to ask.I am in the north of Engand.

Take care and have a great weekend.

Hi there,
I'm so sorry you've been having such a horrid time and that even worse, you have been told in effect so far that there is no help out there for you. I'm not sure whether this will be helpful to you but I had a CFS type illness in 2009 and was treated with something called 'Reverse Therapy' and recovered well after 4 sessions, which I paid for myself. The philisophy is one that comes from the 'Mindbody' school of thought and they believe that adrenal fatigue is very closely related to emotional/psychological factors. Have a look at googling 'Reverse Therapy' and 'Dr John Eaton' for further explanation as I really am not doing it any justice by my description here! I hope you find it useful and best wishes to you.

I'm not trying to promote myself, but I do have quite a few articles on my website. I'm a mom with Addison's disease, but I've written up the things that help me. Let me know how I can help, okay?

One of my friends has been diagnosed with adrenal exhaustion. I'd never even heard of it TBH.

Anyway, she has cut all caffeine from her diet, and...and I'm so sorry to break this to you...alcohol and she says she feels masses better. (although that might just be because she's given up caffeine and alcohol)

That wasn't very helpful was it? Sorry.

Hi Nutty any update on your condition. I have recently started on some DHEA and maybe feeling a bit better but am not sure yet.
