quick question - would norovirus delay period?

am just wondering if anyone has had norovirus/sicky bug and then been late on their period? am starting to wonder whether i should go and get a p test.

I have heard that d & v type bugs can reduce the effectiveness of the pill as it can be evacuated by the body before it is properly absorbed... Don't know whether period could be delayed by virus though.

Nope it shouldn't affect your period. It will affect absorbtion of hormonal contraception though so if that's an issue then go and get a test.
