eyes going funny...

OK Mumsnetters - my eyes are going funny- not spots in front of them, but disturbed vision - kind of lines going in front of my eyes, making everything a bit strange (and I haven't even had a gin) - and making this hard to type! Happens on and off, but more often recently - apart from going to the doc's next week, does anyone have a clue what it could be?

Are you shortsighted? Any history of retinal detachment in your family?

I would get this checked sooner than next week, particularly if it's gotten worse lately.

I have had it a few times and went to DR. He wasn't bothered. Was told to get my eyes checked but there was no problem there so I don't know what it is either. Will be interested to know what your Dr says.

I get something like this occasionally, sometimes followed by a migraine. Good to get it checked out, of course, but it may be due to blood pressure or stress perhaps?

Would also see an optician to have your eyes properly tested.
