whole arm throbs - any ideas

My whole arm aches and throbs not agonisingly but enough to bother me and need neurofen. I also have a pins and needles feeling in 2 of my fingers and my shoulder/neck area is sore to touch. Has been like it for a few weeks now. Has anyone else had anything similar? Dont want to bother my GP with it if it will go away in the end.

Sounds like you have strained a muscle in your neck/shoulder I get the same.

I find heat pads are really helpful, also maybe a physio referral from GP would help.

Put the heatpad on the sore bit of your neck

On the arm that is sore, have a feel under the armpit. I get this randomly, and usually have a swollen gland towards the back of the armpit. I've had it checked several times and dr said its fine, just a gland and it does just go away again

BUT I am not a dr, so I would suggest that you go and get it looked at, just to be sure

Thanks. I cant feel any swollen glands but will give heat pad a go.
