What can I take for hives when breastfeeding?

DD2 just turned 6 weeks old and is EBF. I came out in all over body hives last night. Not sure why, can't think of anything I ate or if I changed washing powder, etc but I wonder what I can take to get rid of the itch. Hoping it is a one off.

I'm using calamine but I assume anti-histamines can't be used? I have some benadryl in the cupboard and it says not to take if breastfeeding.

TIA.
