Something very like it anyway, just back from the crown on both sides, very dry patches which are quite thick. EEk, does anyone know of any shampoos or similar that could help? Thanks.

It could be a fungal infection and a good shampoo for it is Dandarzol.

If you use it twice a week for 3 weeks it quickly clears up and you then use the shampoo less often.

It can be caused by your head being too hot or your hair being too damp for too long (ds gets it as he wears a hoody all the time and goes to bed with his thick hair still v wet. Or I should say he used to get it!
