Over the last couple of weeks I noticed that my wee smelt a bit different (sorry!) and slight burning when weeing. I had also been getting alot of pain on one side in my back and as an IBS sufferer, wasn't sure whether it was something to do with that. Saw doctor on Wednesday who did a dipstick test and said I had high levels of white blood cells and blood in my wee which indicate water infection.
I have been taking antibiotic since then and finish the course tomorrow. However, I am still experiencing the back pain on my lower left side. Its not unbearable but it is very niggling and its radiating right down my leg to my foot. I have had pain here in the past due to IBS but its normally when I'm constipated which I'm not at the moment.
Could it be my kidneys? Should the antibiotics have worked yet? I feel generally shit and tired. Help!
