Nappy rash in 1 yr old

Can someone please recommend something to help dd's nappy rash, she's teething so she is really sore (its the only time she ever is).

i have tried:
leaving her nappy off (for about 6 hrs today)
bathing her in salt water
not wiping her bum with wipes only salt water and cotton woll
and metanium

yet it still looks like iv poured boiling water on her bum! please help!!!!

What worked for ds was Benthanpam and also Welleda's Calendula Cream (very good) tend to get it in the more health food type chemists
Ds got it really bad once and nothing would clear it up, went to GP and it was thrush and GP gave cream and better in a couple of days

I second all of the weleda stuff also I got -from a really little chemists-something called Vasogen, which was amazing, clears it all up everytime he looks like he's getting sore. I think it has calamine in it.

will prob book her to the docs and just check it isnt thrush, i dont think so but who knows, thanks for the help will ge tthe cream if it isnt thrush!!!
