Sorry, this is a bit long-winded. I thought I had thrush a couple of weeks ago, got diflucan one, symptoms passed. Returned about a week later. Seen dr, he gave me pessary and cream, and cream for DH. Pessary made no difference, skin was split sore and bleeding so went back agian. Dr took a swab 
its returned with altered PH. Dr has prescribed metronidazole, 7 day course.
I'm not keen on taking anti-biotics as they generally make me poorly, plus I've got a family party this weekend, and having the pills means I can't drink (not the be all and end all I know, but I don't drink often and I'm really looking forward to it!)
does anyone know of anything that I can do to restore order down there without the tablets? I thought it was getting better but its flared back up this morning :(
