Aquaflex help

OK I have just bought the aquaflex pelvic weights thing.
When it says you have to be able to keep it in, how "in" does it mean? Is it OK if it drops down to where you can feel the tip of the cone on the outside? Or does that mean I need to go down a weight?

I think you need to go down a weight. You should be able to feel it inside (not as far in as a tampon) but it shouldn't fall down that far. Doesn't it hurt when it does? Mine was too heavy at first and it really hurt...

Hmmm drat that means I have to start with the thing empty then!

It doesn't hurt - actually I can hardly feel it at all!

How long did you find it took to go up a weight each time? Also I am at a slight loss to know how I am going to find 20 mins each day just to stand still without people wanting to know what Im doing!
Certainly not going to be at moving around level for some time!

I haven't used mine as often as I should Blush but you'll probably find you can go up a weight quite quickly. I really struggled to find 20 minutes "standing around" and, in the end, I decided to pop it in when I had a shower/did my make-up/hair etc but that's only any use on work mornings. I did wonder if I could wash-up for 20 minutes (I have a dishwasher) but that didn't really appeal. Hard to think of something where you don't move much. I was hoping for something I could just pop in and leave while I had a sit down and a cup of tea!

BelleDameSansMerci · 26/02/2011 19:03

Are you sure you're putting it in far enough? Hard to tell, I think. It's the thing I struggle with the most. Not as far as tampon but should be "in"...

ClubPenguin · 26/02/2011 20:58

Thanks BelleDame - No I'm not at all sure. I'll keep going with the lowest possible weight (ie nothing) and see what happens.
But yes - it's a shame it doesnt work sitting down really.

I tried an electronic one - sadly I think the Aquaflex is better. Don't know why and perhaps that's only true for me?

ClubPenguin · 26/02/2011 22:04

Oh bummer. The electronic one was starting to sound like the easy option! Which one did you have?

I actually can't remember and it was about three years ago (just after DD arrived). It might be that things have improved between then and now anyway?

It's such a faff though - I just want it all fixed with no bloody effort!

Can I ask cause I think I'm being stupid ,do I just insert it and that's it the muscle does the work or do I have to squeeze my muscle ?
