Hi all. I signed up to slimming world a while ago and lost 3 stone, managed to maintain for about 9 months, but then getting married, holidays & Christmas meant I put a few lbs back on. So I went back again about 6 weeks ago.

First 4 weeks were great, I lost, got within 1lb of being back in target zone, but then maintained, had a gain, then found out I was pregnant. :o
It was planned but I'd expected to get back to my target weight first.

So has anyone carried on with SW while pregnant?
I don't want to lose weight now, but I don't want to gain too much. I also don't want to can't afford to keep paying when gaining weight is inevitable.
Does anyone know if there are special payment rules for pregnant ladies?

I've asked my consultant but she's new so she's going to find out. I thought you ladies might be able to give me answers before next week.

I did SW during my last 3 pregnancies as a way of controlling my weight gain. In my last one i actually lost 9lbs but i have many lbs to spare!! I had to have permission from the MW and she had to sign a form to give permission and i was allowed extra 'healthy extra' a/b choices.
I do believe SW is endorsed by the Royal College of Midwives iirc.
