Hi i have a long gyny history, severe endometriosis, chocolate cyst removal and fibriods.
I have been having long periods (a week of normal period then a week of brown discharge)for a year or so. I finally went to the Dr who thinks its related to the fibriods but wants me to have a us scan just to check the status of the fibriods as I have not had any scan since my last miscarriage 2 1/2 years ago.
My endometriosis whilst severe does not cause me much pain only twinges in my ovaries.My womb is stuck to my bowel and my left ovary is stuck to my womb.
Since seeing my Dr I have managed to convince myself through the aid of Dr Google that I have either ovarian cancer or womb cancer.
Over the last fews days my ovaries feel swollen like they did when i had IVF and I have just frightened myself because I have just felt what I think is a lump on my left ovary!
I am very frightened of the scan later on today and I know there is nothing anybody can say to make me feel better but I just wanted to get it off my chest.
