and I just can't shift it!

It started as one of those background headaches on Sat afternoon, so took some paracetamol and had early night.

Could feel it was there all night, and still there and worse in the morning. Tried paracetamol and ibuprofen, which dulled it. By the afternoon it was thumping, so took cocodamol (prescription strength) and went to bed.

Felt better whilst tablets were working, but really bad again later so second dose of cocodamol and early night.

Monday am - it's still there. Decided to try nothing and upped intake of water (I'm very good at drinking water), but it felt like I had a migraine coming so took Migraleve. These worked for a while.

Today, it's still there!!! I haven't taken any tablets again as I don't know if they're even helping now, any suggestions??

By the way, I am stressed out! Had a mmc 5 weeks ago, first af last week, stressed at work etc...

Sounds like a migraine. have you had your bloodpressure checkef? i had dreadful headaches & since i started on meds for high bp the headaches have stopped.

I did wonder if it was a migraine, but it doesn't feel like they normally do iykwim. I have some triptans at home so will try them later.

I had a mmc 5 weeks ago, and had bp done then before erpc, and also whilst prg and it was all fine.

Could it be your sinuses?

ColdHeartedBitch · 22/02/2011 12:10

have you got a Carbon monixide monitor? been cold again here and have put heating on. just a thought.

Also if you have been on a lot of pain killers for the MC and other stuff you can get headaches because of the painkillers. These just need suffering through unfortuntaly.

Hormonal migraine?

harassedinherpants · 22/02/2011 13:22

Doesn't feel like my sinuses Ruby. Dh has huge sinus probs and had an op two weeks ago, so pretty up on those.

Cold yes have a carbon monoxide monitor. I wasn't in a lot of pain, thankfully, but did have a GA as had an erpc, then got a post op infection so a weeks worth of antib's.

I am wondering if hormones are the prob (aren't they always Hmm?) as had first af last week. Possibly with some stress on top for good measure...

Still there but bearable without painkillers, so that's what I'm doing. Drinking lots to make sure I'm not dehydrated. I have a day off with dd tomorrow and we're going to a friend's for lunch, so that'll be a nice day. If that doesn't work I'll pop to docs!
