PAP test

Had a PAP test this morning and since then I have had some very light bleeding. Is this normal? I finished my period last week and I don't remember this happening after my last test.

It often happens and tends to happen more with the newer sampling devices used with liquid based cytology (the plastic brush or broom). Is the blood fresh (pink/red) or brown? If brown its probably leftover from your period and has been dislodged.
If you continue to bleed (past a couple of days) then give your surgery a ring, or if you get smelly/discoloured discharge.
